Tobias Hoffmanns einzigartige Klangwelt ist ein dichtes, experimentelles Extrakt verschiedenster Komponenten. Jazz, Blues, Rock und E-Sounds treffen aufeinander, verschmelzen dabei - oder kontrastieren ganz bewusst. Die Arbeit mit elektronischen Geräten und Effekten setzen innovative Akzente. Seine Kompositionen besitzen die Schlichtheit von Songs. Den Musikern bleibt so viel Raum zu Improvisation und Gestaltung. Mit seinem ungewöhnlichen Stil definiert Hoffmann einen neuen Weg im Jazz.

Seit November 2007 organisiert Tobias die wöchentliche Konzertreihe „Zockpalast“ in der Barracuda Bar in Köln. Anfang 2010 gründet er mit seinen Kollegen Jonas Burgwinkel, Tobias Christl, Pablo Held, Niels Klein, Frederik Köster und Robert Landfermann, das Kölner Jazzkollektiv KLAENG. Im Sommer 2010 erhielt Tobias das Horst und Gretl Will Stipendium (für Jazz und Improvisierte Musik) der Stadt Köln.

Etienne Nillesen is an active voice on the German creative music scene, with regular performances across Europe, Asia and Africa

His main focus is improvisation with ongoing collaborations including the trio OgU , duo Tekening Thom and NTR. Besides that he is exploring all the musical possibilities just playing a snaredrum and a cymbal with all kinds of sticks, toys, bells and bows in his soloconcerts

Besides playing with Ogu and soloconcerts, his interest in various forms of exploratory music gave him the opportunity to work with artists as Simon Nabatov, Ernst Reijseger, Rudi Mahall, Philip Zoubek, Sebastian Gramss, Matthias Schriefl, Carl Ludwig Hübsch, Florian Weber, Bram Stadhouders, Jeroen van Vliet, Eric Vloeimans, Julian Arguelles, Frederik Köster, Elisabeth Fügemann, Leonhard Huhn or Matthias Muche

Besides being active as a musician he is also a teacher, drums jazz and improvisation, at the ArtEZ conservatory in Arnhem/ The Netherlands
